The Life of Wylie has confirms that the BBC has renewed Ashes to Ashes for it's third and final series. Filming to begin in September.

i have to agree with MJB's
i have to agree with MJB's comment above. after watching the final scene in ep 8, i had difficulty forming words, the only thing that would come out was "OMG OMG OMG OMG". what an amazing show and it really showed what an outstanding actress Keeley is. i never find her acting 'over the top' and this particular episode was a showcase for her ability.
kudos to "Ashes to Ashes" the finest hour in television that we don't have. (i'm in the usa)

I was gripped and always pack the kids off fast when 9pm arrives. Love the show and the acting and Keeley is so sexy and gorgeous, cant wait for more!
Annie Cartwright
A suggestion for Keeley Hawes or Liz White to pitch ideas:
I've always liked Annie and ached to know more about the story of her and Sam post "Life On Mars". Surely over the years we learned they spent together Annie would have realized Sam's delusions as she saw them weren't delusions at all. I ache to see her back and tell her story.
I'd say a scene where the two women, Alex and Annie gang up on Gene and knock some sense into his head with a proverbial verbal brick over the Sam Tyler/Alex Drake origins thing. I'm sure it would be great fun to write, act and watch.
Quantum Immortality
Er, where do I begin...apologizing for the grammar in my last post maybe.
The appearance of fellow time-traveler Martin Summers has altered things a bit. Away from "straightforward" Sci-Fantasy towards but thankfully not quite reaching Sci-Fi. If this already hasn't happened which I suspect it might have I'd like to suggest the scriptwriters of Dr. Who and Ashes To Ashes should get together and chuck a few ideas around over a few beers or something. Perhaps after Googling the phrase in the title. There's an excellent entry in Wikipedia btw on the concept. Which I think explains the sciency bits of the two series quite well.
In short Quantum Immortality is what happens in the famous Schrodinger's Cat thought experiment from the Cat's point of view.

i have LOVED series 2, and been blown away by the quality of the plots, scripting and acting. BRILLIANT performance by Keeley... episode 8 was outstanding!
well done to everyone involved. looking forward to seeing "Identity", and getting my Keeley fix through the Autumn!

just found out and it has made my day. but i cant wait till next year. so i have just bought the first one on dvd and pre ordered the second.
