Keeley appeared in series 1 of Ashes to Ashes, the sequel to Life on Mars on BBC. She won the Glamour Awards Best UK Television Actress for this role. Later this year she appeared in Mutual Friends. Series 2 of Ashes to Ashes is expected to air in the spring of 2009.
Keeley recently was featured in two movies in 2008. Firstly The Bank Job with Jason Stratham, followed by Flashbacks of a Fool with Daniel Craig.
Keeley is the new face of Boots No7 cosmetics. She is also the voice of Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider games. Keeley has been nominated for a VGA award for her voice as Lara Croft.
Keeley admitted in Digital Spy that husband Matthew Macfadyen does not get jealous if she kisses other men on screen.
"It does make for some interesting teatime conversations... 'What did you do today, dear?', 'Oh nothing much, just made love to my co-star in a toilet!'"
